Alanis is a beautiful white Swiss shepherd imported from Norway. I was looking forward to her sexual maturity because I really wanted to mix her interesting pedigree in my lines, believing in a great results.

Alanis began her cycles ‘like in manual’ at the age of 9 months. Since then, she has had a cycle every 3 months, which obviously worried me, so I decided to cover her at 2 years, in order to avoid the appearance of pyometra, which could happen with such frequent cycles.In addition, Alanis is a beautiful bitch: anatomically beautiful, of perfect temperament and completely healthy!The first mating ended with great sadness: Alanis had only one puppy who was hydrocephalus and had to be put asleep.The next mating Alanis developed a strong mucometer which we barely solved with powerful antibiotics and ultrasound monitoring every 2 days … Of course, the advice of all veterinarians was sterilization.After that, I visited a veterinarian specialist in reproduction in Budapest, who immediately knew what disturbed Alanis and how to help her, and I managed to convince myself to try again, with the support of hormones and drugs that normalize the cycle and improve reproductive ability.
